WAGO automation from a single source

Our team of electricians, IT specialists and mechatronics engineers takes on building automation, industrial control and electrical installation built on WAGO systems. From the survey through the programming to the handover we deal with everything in one place, so there are no delays between the trades.

  • Design and installation of WAGO building automation
  • Programming WAGO PFC and CC controllers in CODESYS
  • Building and upgrading distribution boards and control cabinets
  • Control of lighting, heating, shading and energy metering
  • Taking over, extending and fault finding on existing systems
  • Remote monitoring and secure remote access

WAGO building automation

The WAGO controller is the central brain of the building: it handles lighting, heating and cooling, shading, ventilation and energy metering in a single system. The logic runs locally, so the system works without internet and there is no compulsory cloud subscription.

Lighting and shadingDALI light control based on presence and light level, with automatic shading following the path of the sun and the temperature.
Heating and coolingZone-by-zone control, with heat pump and underfloor heating integrated into one system.
Energy managementEnergy metering and consumption monitoring with Modbus meters, with logic that can be matched to a solar system.
Control with no monthly feeWeb visualisation and mobile control on the local network, with no cloud subscription.

A proven solution for houses, offices and apartment buildings alike, one that can be extended freely later on.

Industrial automation and PLC programming

Built on WAGO PFC controllers, we take on the automation of machines, process technology and small plant systems. We do the programming in CODESYS, an open, industry-standard platform, so the system stays readable for another engineer later on.

Machine controlProgramming machines and process technology, replacing relay logic with a modern PLC-based solution.
Industrial communicationModbus TCP/RTU, MQTT and OPC UA, a system that works with devices from other manufacturers too.
Data logging and alarmsLogging of sensor data, alarms and remote monitoring over an encrypted connection.
Agricultural automationIrrigation, climate control and silo monitoring, complemented by data acquisition.

We also take over, document and develop existing control systems, including mixed systems with devices from other manufacturers.

Electrical installation with WAGO components

Automation rests on a tidy, dependable distribution board. We build control cabinets and distribution boards with WAGO spring terminals, which are vibration-proof, maintenance-free and quick to fit, so the connections stay sound for decades.

Building distribution boardsDesign and construction of control cabinets with WAGO spring terminals, to industrial quality.
UpgradesPreparing existing boards for automation and replacing old relay control systems.
Orderly documentationClear wiring, labelling and connection documentation on every job.
Instrument testingMeasurement and testing with an instrument report before handover.

The installation is carried out by our own team of electricians, so the power work and the automation programming do not drift apart between two contractors.

WAGO or Loxone?

We install both systems, so we are not out to sell you a brand but the solution that fits the job. The two platforms take different approaches and complement each other well in many projects.

When do we recommend the WAGO system?
  • In an industrial or agricultural setting
  • When entirely bespoke control logic is needed
  • When a manufacturer-independent, open platform matters
  • In larger buildings with many measuring points
  • When it has to fit an existing PLC system
When do we recommend the Loxone system?
  • For smart home projects in houses and flats
  • When a ready-made mobile app and quick configuration are the goal
  • For a retrofitted, wireless extension
  • When design and user experience come first

We write about our Loxone solutions on a separate page: Loxone building automation. At the survey we help you decide which platform suits your project.

Frequently asked questions about WAGO automation

We have collected what our clients most often ask about WAGO systems, from prices to expandability.

WAGO is an industrial PLC platform on which both building automation and machine control can be built. Unlike off-the-shelf smart home systems, here we program the logic entirely freely, so there is no bespoke requirement that cannot be met.
The price depends on the number of controlled functions and the size of the building. The main cost elements are the controller, the input and output modules, the sensors and the labour. After a survey we give an itemised quote, and the system can be built out in stages.
WAGO is a wired system, so it really pays off in a new build or a refurbishment. When an existing board is upgraded it can often be fitted in later as well, but in a finished, furnished property we tend to recommend a wireless solution such as Loxone Air.
No. The control runs locally on the WAGO controller and the web visualisation also works on the local network. An internet connection is only needed for remote access.
WAGO is built on open standards: it handles KNX, DALI, Modbus, MQTT, BACnet and OPC UA communication. Heat pumps, solar inverters, computer systems and devices from other manufacturers can all be integrated.
CODESYS is the most widely used manufacturer-independent PLC programming environment. A program written in it is documented and standards-based, so the system can be maintained later by another engineer and does not depend on a single company.
Yes. We take on the automation of machine control, process technology, irrigation and climate control alike, complemented by data acquisition and remote monitoring.
Yes, we take on the takeover, documentation, extension and fault finding of existing WAGO and other PLC-based systems, so you are not tied to a single contractor.
Yes, the whole control logic runs locally, so every function keeps working during an internet outage. Remote access runs over an encrypted connection, with permissions managed per user.
Programming and commissioning building automation on the scale of a family house typically takes 1 to 2 weeks, depending on how far the electrical work has progressed. For industrial control the complexity of the process decides, and there we give a schedule after the survey. We test the control logic before going live, and the fine-tuning happens in the first weeks of use.
The WAGO controller runs a web visualisation that can be reached from a browser or a phone on the local network, and remotely over an encrypted connection. We tailor the interface to the building: floor plan view, heating zones, consumption data, alarms. There is no separate app with a monthly fee.
For an industrial or agricultural project, bespoke process control or a large building, the freely programmable WAGO is the stronger foundation. For a home, where a ready-made app and quick configuration matter, Loxone is more convenient. The two can also be integrated; we write about the details on the Loxone building automation page.
