WordPress optimisation, maintenance and translation

TM Jandea - structural engineering design

I carried out the full maintenance, development and translation of the WordPress site of TM Janeda, a structural engineering practice. At the start of the cooperation the site was extremely slow.
The first page load took 10 to 15 seconds, which badly hurt both the user experience and search engine optimisation.
With targeted performance work I cut the load time dramatically, and I did so even though the site still runs on an outdated PHP version and on less than ideal hosting. After a future move to a new host and a PHP upgrade the speed can improve further, but even on the current infrastructure the site delivers a fast, modern user experience.

Work carried out:
  • WordPress maintenance and updates
  • Bespoke development
  • Multilingual translation
Dramatic speed optimisation (10-15 s → a fraction of a second)
  • WP optimisation
  • WP development

Magento-based system development

Egzotikus Fűszerek spice webshop

The project started with taking over a half-finished Magento webshop, where the goal was not simply to complete it but to build a stable, dependable system that could carry heavy load.

We designed and built the entire VPS infrastructure: hosting and server structure optimisation, environment tuning, and finding and fixing performance and stability problems.

A number of bespoke extensions were developed and existing modules modified, in several cases fitted to the business logic rather than to an off-the-shelf solution. Varnish cache and nginx went in underneath the system, which significantly improved page load times and the load the site can carry.

As part of the project the till software was also connected to the webshop, ensuring compliance with the regulations and an automated data link between sales and the back-office systems.

The result is a fast, stable, scalable Magento webshop that is sustainable in business terms over the long run.

Magento 2 service site on our own WebPotCMS

Magento2.hu

magento2.hu is the professional site for my Magento 2 development, maintenance and hosting services, built on our own WebPotCMS. The whole structure of the site follows search and content logic, with no template and no plugins.

The content is built on professional depth: standalone landing pages, knowledge base articles and a glossary cover Magento 2 development, migration, maintenance, VPS hosting and performance optimisation. Machine processing is supported by structured data (FAQ, HowTo, Organization, DefinedTermSet), clean HTML and fast delivery.

Results:
🥇 Outstanding organic positions on keywords related to Magento development
🤖 Appearing in and being recommended by AI-based search engines and answers
⚡ Low server load and fast loading with a plugin-free architecture

The site is also proof of what WebPotCMS can do for search: content and technical iteration is quick, and the result is measurable in organic traffic and enquiries.

Complete WordPress webshop build

Libwomanstore

For the Libwomanstore project we designed and built the whole webshop on WordPress. The work was not based on a template: the visual identity, the user experience and the technical implementation were all built to bespoke requirements.

The project covered the development of the shop, the customisation of its functions and the setup of multilingual content and translations. A clear product structure, a discreet appearance and stable, dependable operation were the key considerations.

The result is a modern, clean, easy-to-manage WordPress webshop that stands on its own both commercially and technically.

A bespoke WebPotCMS webshop

WangPromHerb Thai balms

The webshop of WangPromHerb Thai balms is an entirely bespoke system built on our own WebPotCMS engine. The aim of the project was a lightning-fast, stable webshop optimised for marketing, with no compromises.
The system is not based on off-the-shelf solutions: the frontend and backend architecture was shaped specifically around the business needs. As a result the shop runs with very fast load times, low server load and high availability.

One of the greatest strengths of WebPotCMS is how flexibly it extends: marketing functions, campaign logic, bespoke product handling and automations are all an organic part of the system rather than plugins bolted on afterwards. This significantly reduces the room for error and increases long-term reliability.

The solution is focused on SEO and conversion, and is prepared for modern search engines and AI-based indexing as well. The system allows quick iteration, A/B-minded development and technical changes that follow business decisions.

The result is a fully controlled, fast, secure and scalable webshop that answers to business goals rather than to the limits of an external platform.

Site migration and performance optimisation

Endicon.de

For endicon.de the project focused on the safe migration of an existing website and on improving the performance and stability of the system. Moving without data loss, keeping the site continuously available and putting the technical environment in order were the key considerations.

During the migration the server-side environment was optimised as well: settings were tuned, performance problems were found and fixed, and the site was made faster and more dependable.

As a result of the project the site became more stable, faster and more sustainable in the long run, meeting modern hosting and performance expectations.

Robotic mower installation on our own WebPotCMS

Robottelepites.hu

Robottelepites.hu is a service website run as our own business, built on the bespoke WebPotCMS. The goal was a fast, technically clean and search-optimised site that brings real business results.

The structure is built specifically around SEO and conversion: a logical content structure, clean HTML, fast load times and a plugin-free architecture. As a result the site has reached outstanding organic visibility in Google.

SEO results:
🥇 „Robotfűnyíró telepítés” (robotic mower installation) - 1st place in Google in Budapest
🥈 „GPS robotfűnyíró” (GPS robotic mower) - 2nd place in Budapest
🤖 A separate AI-based appearance on the Google search interfaces

WebPotCMS made quick content and technical iteration possible, so the site has not only reached its high positions but has held on to them, while running with low server load and stable operation.

The result is a commercially proven website with outstanding SEO performance, one that produces enquiries from organic traffic rather than from ad spend. The icing on the cake is that after entering the details of the garden it emails the expected installation cost and the recommended models.

WordPress optimisation and Loxone smart home programming

JobelHome.com

The JobelHome.com project covered two complementary areas: the safe migration of the website and the programming of the smart home system of a property.

The WordPress site was migrated in full, without data loss, while operation and availability were maintained throughout. After the migration, stabilising the system and basic technical tuning were also part of the job.

As the other element of the project I programmed the Loxone-based smart home system of one of the flats. The aim of the automation was comfortable, dependable and energy-efficient operation, matched to the functions of the flat and to everyday use.

The result is a stable web presence and a modern, well-working smart home solution, where IT and building automation serve the property hand in hand.

Our own WebPotCMS webshop with server-side tracking

PinkTara.hu

PinkTara.hu is a webshop built on our own WebPotCMS, where the focus was not only on fast, stable operation but also on accurate, dependable marketing measurement.

One key element of the project was implementing Google Ads server-side tracking. Because of the limits of client-side measurement (cookie blocking, browser filtering, data loss) the measurement logic moved to the server, so events are sent more accurately, more consistently and dependably over the long run.

The server-side tracking solution made it possible to:
  • measure conversions more accurately,
  • train the advertising algorithms more effectively,
  • and get a better return on marketing spend (ROAS).
Thanks to the flexible architecture of WebPotCMS the measurement logic is built on native system components rather than external plugins, so the solution is fast, secure and easy to develop further.
The result is a data-driven webshop ready in marketing terms, one that also meets modern data protection and measurement expectations.

UNAS integration, product import and online marketing

Milwaukee and Ryobi tools - szerszamgep-shop.hu

For the szerszamgep-shop.hu project we supported and automated the technical operation of the webshop, with particular emphasis on product management and online marketing.

As part of the work we developed a bespoke UNAS product import script that made it possible to load products into the system efficiently, in a structured and dependable way. This significantly reduced manual administration and kept the data consistent.

The project did not stop at the technical side: we took part in setting up and running the Google Ads campaigns aimed at increasing relevant traffic and sales. Bringing the technical background and the marketing into line played a key part in the results.

The development and campaign management run as part of a long-term cooperation with one of the largest Hungarian garden equipment distributors, where stability, reliability and scalability were key expectations.

The result is an automated webshop supported by marketing, one that also works efficiently in business terms.

WordPress development, bespoke plugins and maintenance

ecodan24.hu

The ecodan24.hu project is earlier professional work of mine.

During the project I took part in the development, extension and maintenance of a WordPress-based website. COP was connected to the exclusive distribution of Mitsubishi Electric heat pumps, so technically accurate presentation and stable operation were particularly important.

The development work included building a heat pump selector and calculator system and connecting it to a Joomla-based webshop. The aim was a genuinely usable decision support tool that serves the sales process with a technically dependable data link.

As part of the project the site was maintained, updated and debugged on an ongoing basis, ensuring dependable operation over the long run.

PHP-based admin system development

MIOSZ.hu

For the miosz.hu project I took part in developing the administration system of the Hungarian Association of Real Estate Agents (Magyar Ingatlanközvetítők Országos Szövetsége).

The work focused on backend PHP development, particularly on handling and integrating XML-based API connections. While developing and extending the logic running in the admin system, data processing, communication with external systems and dependable, maintainable operation were the key concerns.

The goal of the work was a stable, well-structured and reliable admin interface that supports the internal processes and data handling of the organisation efficiently.

Starting out in a guerrilla marketing environment

Myrtis Creative Kft

Myrtis Creative Kft. is a creative business working in guerrilla marketing, where my career began. The company works with a number of large, nationally known brands on fast-paced projects with high expectations: Erste Bank, Nestlé, Tv2, RTL and others.

Through this work I gained insight into campaign-based thinking, into handling client expectations and into how a large corporate environment works. The project environment was disciplined, deadline- and quality-driven, which gave me a strong foundation for my later professional development.

The experience gained at Myrtis laid the groundwork for the systems thinking, the business mindset and the professional approach that have stayed with me through my later web, backend and marketing projects.
